“Joe, Nathan, Eoin, Dan MacDonald & Kenny Cunningham are outstanding, well balanced and considered analysts, and thinkers of the why’s behind what happens in the beautiful game.
Kilbane, on the other hand, is a blowhard. He has invariably* failed to provide any insight or thought-provoking commentary that justifies listening to him.
He routinely over-emphasises “body shape” when attempting to provide technical insight. He repeats points, sometimes even verbatim, as a means to reinforce a poorly considered perspective. He invariably misuses the word “invariably” (he’s never once used it appropriately). But more importantly, he’s moralised about playing for Ireland (under the rationale that “I’m Ireland’s most-capped player”), all the while compartmentalising he didn’t love playing for Ireland too much when he missed his penalty against Spain in 2002. Not so Irish then. 🏴”☘️” 😉
Keep up the great work Joe, Nathan, Dan, Eoin & Kenny.”
