Clear, accessible, well organized, thought provoking, great examples
Every episode raises interesting points and questions that leave me thinking about them for days. I like that the episodes are straight to the point, getting to the content right away. They're well organized with good pacing and are well researched with clear anecdotes to back up all the concepts. I feel like Dr. N always anticipates the questions I have and answers them by the end of the episode. The content is accessible for someone without a forensic psychology background but it doesn't feel dumbed down. I recently listened to the episodes on criminal lineups and eyewitness accounts and they made me think about how the same memory failures might be affecting our daily lives (and also reinforced how important it is to have experts be involved in policy decisions!). The original music always adds to the overall effect of the episodes. I'd definitely recommend this podcast for anyone!Read full review »

The repetitive background piano is so intrusive that I can’t listen for very long. Why is this necessary

Forensic psychology is often the hero of tv and movies, but how much does the layman actually know? These early episodes have been insightful and informative, and I’m excited to see where this a podcast goes!
