Love it. 4 stars because: Advertisements are stupid, annoying and badly placed.

There’s an ad running on this programme that is just the sound of something or someone eating. It’s revolting; and not even effective marketing. I can’t even tell you what it’s for because I skip so quick. Yuck - please stop it!

Episode on 27/7 where you “decode” Biden’s address was ridiculous.

After 5 years as a subscriber, I stopped listening one-quarter into an episode and unfollowed. Reporting on the state of the US economy, state of the US Supreme Court anf the US border sounds like it’s straight from Fox News.

I enjoy The Front most of the time, but I won’t listen to the likes of Greg Sheridan and other political journalists serving up one-sided propaganda in the guise of news. Reading other recent reviews on this podcast, it seems I am not the only listener who finds this nonsense utterly repellent.

I really enjoy the daily update when there is a decent news story being reported. But the obsession with some topics like the Lehrmann/Higgins case is tedious. If the best story of the day is that a psychic went to the Higgins/Sharaz wedding then perhaps you should broaden your scope! So many...Read full review »

This podcast is shameful. Today’s reporting on the UNs prosecutors finding that leader of of Israeli and Hamas are guilty of war crimes was actually just a 15 minutes of a guy trying to undermine the UN (plus lots of ads). 15mins of my life I’ll never get back. I force myself to listen to the...Read full review »

I genuinely could not believe that a relatively well respected body like the Australian could produce this news show. I listened to a pro-Israel, anti-Hamas diatribe go on and on. I waited to hear the usual commentary that comes from balanced news outlets - no one’s hands are clean in any...Read full review »

I have quite enjoyed this program at times, however the impartiality of some of the journalists leaves me very disappointed. Unbiased reporting of the University campus protests would be greatly appreciated. Yet another example of biased reporting by the Australian.

The profound lack of impartiality in this program is truly shocking. Tens of thousands of lives have been lost, including 200 aid workers, one of whom was Australian. Despite being six months in to these atrocities, the program continues to prioritise reporting on antisemitism. Let there be no...Read full review »

So the entire first half of the episode was about how some materials from a court case were probably obtained and used illegally, and then the second half details those private materials? Seems ironic.

More Murdoch culture wars BS Enough
Navy_Girl69 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 03/26/24
A front for what, seems to just be petty quibbling on the culture wars.

I’m a Brit who stumbled on The Front by accident and has been listening for years. Recently there seems to be an uncomfortable bias against Palestinians. They’ve even been getting facts wrong (1400 civilians killed by Hamas) - not true that’s the total number of soldiers and civilians. Seems...Read full review »

27 Oct Voice 2.0 Neglected to read out that letter stated people who voted no were racist. You made the letter look positive instead of sour grapes sore losers. Content in this podcast great, but will unsubscribe because the background music is too irritating. Bye.

On occasions the personal leanings of the reporters (particularly younger ones) become very obvious.. perhaps some guidance on impartiality could help. Also, it seems to be becoming a bad habit that is widespread; please train your people to stop commencing their answers with “So..”. It is...Read full review »

Please… no more of this one sided, self indulgent exercise in faux reparations. I’m really sad that the we as a country are consumed by some misguided, misinformed waste of time and money. Geoff Chambers long-winded run down of what to expect in the federal budget could have benefited from a few breaths in between his monotone reporting. I usually enjoy The Front but had to tune out for fear of falling asleep while driving.

Claire is a great host, the content is very relevant and I never miss it. Also it doesn’t hit you with that right wing meanness journalism so often evident in The Australian newspaper.

A very good daily podcast covering different topical issues, but it is much too short. Would prefer 30 minute episodes.

I’ve been enjoying this daily podcast for a few months now. I can’t believe it’s from The Australian. Not what I usually listen to but it’s been getting better and better

This has the potential to be very good but the news is read too fast & with a sense of urgency that is sometimes inappropriate. There are way too many ads. Maybe that’s why the news is being rushed?

So much distorted information. Disappointing.

Lisa Wilkinson, really? She’s blown it, she who wanted a conviction so badly. I wonder what Brittany thinks now? Journalists cannot be judge, jury and executioner. Thankfully! Although, clearly some of them think they are above, and are, the law.

I was happy for the journalists and behind-the-scenes production team to come up to speed with a new podcast which is now sounding professional. However, more serious news reporting from our national daily and and less Dawson trial and trivial matters please.
Barb2503 via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 05/31/22
I really enjoy the Front and enjoy the short snapshot of daily political news. I’m really sick of the time being taken up by the Dawson murder trial - can’t this be covered in another podcast? More politics, less murder please.

Look, I appreciate the daily trial updates, but if Matthew Condon finds testimony of predation on a child ‘thrilling evidence’ I’d suggest he’s the wrong person to report on this or any trial involving relationship violence or sexual exploitation. For that matter I’d appreciate if all of the pods...Read full review »

Meh
Pretty poor reporting. Given the resources available to The Australian I would expect something more like the Morning Wire by the Daily Wire.
