Lost a lot of what made it brilliant
The podcast recently has lost a lot of energy and now is more similar to “old men yells at clouds” than real football analysis and commentating. I don’t really want to hear about the good ole days that we so often get out of Martin Samuel. Alyson Rudd also offers very little other than gut feeling which can essentially be boiled down to personal bias. Tom Clarke is a great personality but he’s not someone I would put to lead and organise the discussion as he lacks the natural charisma to carry the dialogue and evoke emotion. They need to add some younger energy to the podcast otherwise it’s going to die off.

Classic example of her being out of touch with...Read full review »
