Needs work.
Started off interesting, 4 episodes in, it’s the same information over and over again, I’m not sure if it’s because of lack of information but it’s monotonous. The “Pro-bono barrister” is quite frankly a nut-job, conflating the suicide of one police officer, and the death of another as suspicious 🙄. The pedophile cop abused young boys, not girls, yet that’s conflated with the story, and overall, the way it’s presented makes it feel as though the parents were in some way responsible - I don’t know how many times I can handle hearing “suicide isn’t an option in our family” before rolling my eyes. I can understand grief, but honestly, it feels like there’s nothing to this story, and seeing as how the podcast makes direct reference to “The Teachers Pet” podcast, it became quite clear that that is all they’re trying to recreate. Wouldn’t bother.

I wish nothing more for the family then to find closure and get justice after everything they have faced. every episode feels like we are getting closer to the truth.

Just a note in the opening it says Port Arthur was Australia’s worst massacre, looking at Australia’s past and in particular Tasmania, I don’t think First Nations people would agree with this statement.
