WHY You have removed everything concerning the wonderful lawyer who did SO much for the family without charging them a penny. And no explanations! You have even removed him from episode’s’ description, along with my 5*comment where I said he was the hero of the story. I am not listening to...Read full review »

Why isn’t Peter involved any more? He added so much to this podcast.

Following so closely, so much injustice. When will we hear more? Surely they can re investigate at bare minimum?

Excellent podcast, thank you all for sharing all the awful details of this trade guy. When institutions like the Police, Schools, Coroners etc fail to do their jobs without fear or favour the worst things happen. No one is above the law, every life matters, how disgusting that good people turned...Read full review »

This podcast is heartbreaking, and it’s utterly disgusting that it’s even had to come to this. Keep up the good fight, what happens in the dark always comes to light. To Edens family and friends, i am with you.

That was weird sorry but they waited 9 yrs to say that? It’s not that I didn’t believe them but, my apologies, considering what we’d listened so far it wasn’t even that shocking nor was that hard to listen to, as you had led us to believe it was going to be. Underwhelming at this point and...Read full review »

Wow!! Incredible podcast. Well done to all involved. Jay, my heart broke when I heard your voice crack whist speaking with Eden’s sister. Your empathy and professionalism shines in this series. Cannot wait for the truth to prevail! My thoughts are with the Westbrook family xx

Thankyou Peter Lavac for your generosity in assisting with this horrendous miscarriage of justice. It’s a disgrace!!! I sincerely hope that Jason and Amanda can get to the bottom of what happened to their beautiful daughter and justice can be served to the offender/s and those involved in the...Read full review »

A truly eye opening podcast and one where I feel, as a parent I too would want all to hear. You deserve to have a voice. To Edens parents, never give up. Stay strong and be heard! Whatever the outcome, the truth needs to be uncovered and I feel from what I’ve listened to over the past few...Read full review »

A great podcast on the back of such a sad story. I e listened to the podcast about sue neil Fraser accused of murdering her husband and after hearing this it really highlights the fact Tasmanian police have some serious corruption going on and wouldn’t surprise me if it goes higher than the...Read full review »

Eden’s story is heartbreaking and the circumstances around her death are really compelling to listen to, but the way the podcast is presented is beyond infuriating. The same interviews are replayed repeatedly over several episodes, not just small snippets but whole interviews, and the episodes...Read full review »

Adding my positive review after reading all the negative ones from the locals. Wow, exactly the response you’d expect from them too after listening to this podcast. I am an avid Podcast listener and this is one of my top ones. I’m still unsure as to what I believe happened but terribly sad story no matter what. Lots of cover ups involved sadly. Hope this gets solved for the families sake.

Nothing new under the sun, corrupt Tassie police…. No surprise there, especially when it comes to anything that might expose high ranking predators. There is a cover up here, for sure 🥲

How the police can handle things like this, gives me absolutely no faith in the system. Go and speak to the witnesses and do your job TASPOL!

Don’t let the locals spamming bad reviews, and trying to stop a light being shone into their cockroach nest put you off. This is a great podcast which shows that some places prefer the practices of the dark ages.

I feel for the family, I truly do but this podcast was not the way to go about getting attention for their cause. It’s so very repetitive and terribly edited. Fantastic Podcast! Can I just say to Edens sisters, there is absolutely nothing strange about wanting to do Edens makeup. That shows how much you loved her! She would be so proud you had the courage to do that.

How this family has been treated is nothing short of disgusting! The culture of Tasmania law and order has really got to be looked into!! The fact is that many police officers and sergeants in a small towns in Tasmania are corrupt and muddy the lines of the law to benefit their families, friends and colleagues. Any suggestion otherwise is made by those who benefit

Good story and hopefully it pushes authorities to resolve this. However the story so far could have been done in 4 or 5 episodes. The content is very repetitive.

Spitty voices and whistling ‘s’ sounds. It’s a shame because it’s well reported and interesting story.

This sounds like a paedophile cover up, there is a reason they didn't and won't properly investigate Edens death/murder This has all the hallmarks of a government conspiracy, the only thing that surprises me is they haven't succeeded to smear Jason and Amanda because they don't...Read full review »

This podcast is frustrating for it one-sidedness. All the people in favor of a non-suicide have personal connections to the family. The lawyer received the case strikes me as a conspiracy nut. Some of the worst investigative journalism I’ve ever come across. At no point are we presented with any credible evidence that this was anything other than a suicide. I’ve enjoyed this podcast, but I’ve had to check multiple times that I’m not repeating an episode as a lot of the recordings and interviews are reused multiple times throughout the podcast. Nonetheless, it is interesting and heartbreaking all at the same time.
rgmorgan via Apple Podcasts · Australia · 12/14/23
Good so far. I still don’t understand why you would cremate the mobile phone if you were suspicious around the cause of death. Any evidence that could help is crucial. An odd decision by the family.

It is absolutely shocking to me that this story is being told in 2023 - the details of the crime scene and the incompetence and lack of care of the police at the scene, the lack of investigation by the police and then farce that was the coroners inquiry. How is this even a podcast? What a joke. As someone who was there and has seen the whole story play out, I can tell you, the parents will do anything to deflect their own responsibility and guilt in this case.

I feel so deeply sad for Eden's family; their grief is unfathomable. The so called investigation into Eden's passing was disgustingly inept and the Tasmanian police invilved should be ashamed of themselves. I'm only up to ep 6 - and I'm trying really hard to tolerate the slabs...Read full review »

I feel for the family, the pedo copper ruined the whole investigation to protect his pathetic self. Open up this case and find out exactly what happened to Eden. I like the lawyer, he’s down to earth, says it like it is, and will find the truth.

If Peter Lavac wants to cultivate a public image as a playboy then that is fine. But it should rule him out of being any kind of moral authority on how society protects young women. I was very uncomfortable with how this podcast seemed to be serving some kind of agenda for him.
