I enjoyed the series, but have one point that I don't agree with. He claims that people do not repress memories and suddenly remember them with help. Oh yes, they do. Never had anything to do with Teal Swan, but I have definitely remembered repressed memories. It used to be called being...Read full review »

I accidentally came across this podcast whilst looking for Teal Swan. I’m so glad I listened to all these episodes as it’s certainly given me a pause for thought moment!! I highly recommend to anyone following Teal Swan to listen to these episodes and then decide….

The podcast was good and it did present a fair and balanced approach to the methods of Teal Swan. However, I think it could have greatly benefited greatly from expert analysis and research. For instance, throughout the podcast I thought of Dr. Elizabeth Loftus, who is a leading expert on memory...Read full review »

I was impressed teal let Jennings get this close to her. I liked his style of reporting, I didn't feel like he was talking to me like a child like some other podcasts seem to do. I liked that it brought all involved parties and it gave you every angle available.Read full review »

Was repetitive in some areas & at times, found info to substantiate the host’s desire to make Teal wrong. First off, she is. She has skirted the professional field of counseling which requires years of training & accountability. But stating that there isn’t science behind repressed memory...Read full review »

This podcast suffers from the negative bias and, frankly off-putting, prejudice of its reporter/producer/host Jennings Brown. From beginning to end he has clearly already made up his mind against Teal Swan and is out gathering “evidence” to support his negative bias against her. He is not driven...Read full review »

I enjoyed this podcast, as I do many investigative podcasts. That said, something happened towards the end where it seems as though the reporter/host got triggered, possibly from the memory he had come up about being put in the hamper by his cousin, and the whole vibe changed. The last two...Read full review »

Felt like everyone in this podcast got a fair shake–presenting the facts and yet not being overly sympathetic or moralizing. Was fascinated to the end.

Love to hear a good investigative podcast like this. Just facts.

I loved the style, interviews and recordings, along with investigative journalism. Wish there was more, I binged it. After watching ‘The Deep End’ on a streaming platform it was great listening as this podcast precedes those events shown. I especially loved hearing Jennings (host) go toe-toe with...Read full review »

I came here after watching a docuseries online. This is very interesting. I agree with the host, but I can see both sides of the issue for sure. I especially like hearing the interviews with Teal herself. It’s helpful to hear directly from her, rather than only hearing previous recordings. Thank...Read full review »

I enjoyed the podcast and the subject is fascinating and complicated. However, Teal stating that she has psychic access to every thought that has ever been thought is a red flag. Just because a thought is out there in the cosmos, how is she able to discern whether or not the thought she homes in...Read full review »

Period. It’s a very interesting case to be sure, but there’s nothing deeper in the situation than that, in my opinion. The podcast was excellent, though. I binged all of it in a day.

I appreciate a tech-geek wanting to understand the the attraction of Teal Swan’s following, however to do that you need to understand where she has drawn her “creed” from. There is nothing new about the new age mysticism and psychobabble that are interspersed in her teachings; nothing about them...Read full review »

A fascinating portrait and insights into Teal Swan. After listening to this, I think people should be extremely careful about getting advice from this woman.

…I have to agree with another reviewer that he has a hard on for this subject, albeit unconscious. That may explain why he doesn’t address her abnormally striking conventional beauty and its role, along with her charisma, in manipulating the vulnerable. Really well done, and I appreciate that it was approached with minimal bias. Unlike the film "Deep End" which definitely feels a little contrived for dramatic purposes. But I was left wondering why there was no mention of any attempt to contact her parents.Read full review »

An incredibly inaccurate portrayal of a very dangerous person. Pseudoscientific therapy. High-control. There are plenty of readily available sources around and I would encourage people to check out as many of them as possible before falling down this rabbit hole.

He sounds enamored by Teal Swan and in an interview with “Sounds like a Cult” podcast actually mentions how his producer had to toss a large part of an interview with Teal Swan because she got in his head. Does the host have a hard-on for Teal? He goes into this praising her; perhaps he gets more objective towards the end. I’m in the middle, but his attitude toward her is a bit unsettling at this point.

I think it’s well done and truly goes into detail as to who this woman is. It’s staggering to listen to what she believes.

This podcast is good but also sad. IMO, Swan is dangerous and seemingly delusional. Just because you can imagine something awful and traumatic doesn’t make it true. It’s called creative thinking. I listened to this after I discovered the show on Hulu. The podcast is well done and fascinating. I guess it’s important to expose these types of people. But some people won’t see her that way and it could expand her audience… and that is unfortunate.

Interesting, but not nearly critical enough. Someone claiming they know all your thoughts, or that a doctor should have people “channel” a patient’s organs? or anything else that’s claimed here? Ms. Swan, while I don’t doubt her belief in her experiences (perception is reality), has not done the measurable/clinical/academic work necessary for the role she assigns herself as an “expert.” I find her offensive and problematic.

An excellent deep dive into this group, it’s far beyond what a National news source would do. Awesome podcast and really well done! My only complaint is that this woman is so full of her own hot air that by the end of it her voice became intolerable. But that’s not the host’s fault :) Listened to it all in one day. Would love for this same team to pick another subject and do a season 2!
