Best in Genre
From the moment I hit play on the first episode of this podcast, I knew I had found something that was going to change my opinion on the genre forever. These gamers are so far away from the tables full of actual play podcasters that basically just drop a mic in the middle of their table, faff around all night, and then upload it for your listening 'pleasure'. Episode after episode, the focus on gameplay, tight story telling and a humor that constantly surprises and delights is just the beginning of what make Glass Cannon awesome. This show is one of those rare events in entertainment when an ensemble cast with excellent chemistry, a compelling story and high production value comes together to create something so much greater than the sum of its parts. These are highly skilled gamers playing a complex game at a level a lot of us at home should envy. Even their new-to-rpgs player has an excellent grasp on what is possible and a quiet wit that never lets down to boot. At the same time, it feels just like sitting down with your own friends and having an excellent game session. This mix of professionalism and personal touch is yet another gem of this show. I could go on, but all you really need to know is that if you only ever listen to one Actual Play podcast, this is the one to subscribe to. They have set the bar for the genre and week in and week out, they never fail to bring it.Read full review »

For those of you who are fans of tabletop games and peple having a jolly good time rolling dice this will be for you. As a relatively new DM myself has given me lots of ideas of how to improve my own game so many thanks!
