Go Go Godzilla
This podcast attempts to share and analyze the extensive Godzilla film Library. As a huge fan of these absurd creature features I share the hosts’ passion for the Kaiju calamity. The only frustrating part, at times, is the inability of the hosts to accept the outrageous decisions of the creative teams behind these films. They are decades old and often had little to no budget. Godzilla, for the most part, is not high art. Still, there is plenty of creativity packed into Godzilla from 40 years ago, than most big budget films made today. Godzilla taps into is every child’s fantasy of being large and powerful and destroying everything in your path. I mean, who doesn’t love watching two colossal monsters (stuntmen in rubber suits) beat the hell out of one another on a miniature city scape, with pyrotechnics and the chance to be set on fire? AMAZING!!! Take the time to wade through this library with these guys. It’s well worth the journey. Rock out with your Kaiju out on The Godzilla Podcast.
