“Most topics are rather interesting and appealing to a worldwide audience, although some are too culture-specific. About one out of four episodes is a rerun, pardon, “from the archive”, which makes 25% of this basically redundant. Lastly, the sound quality varies a lot: the volume of the sound of some episodes is too low; many episodes have long interruptions for what I imagine are breaks for ads, making this a pain to hear sometimes. Finally, they play the same sound segment saying “The Guardian” at the end and at the beginning of each episode so if you are listening to episodes back to back you get to hear the same sound twice in a row! Yes, sound editing and production leave much to be desired!”
