Makes Me Want to Write
This podcast is a delight from beginning to end. It features excellent production, a thoughtful and personable host, and more brilliant guests than you can shake a tired-out metaphor at. But even more amazing is how Jonathan and his guests serve their listeners by dismantling the image of the writer as a disembodied genius in an airy castle. By focusing on the art, craft, and day-to-day practice of writing, they invite the rest of us to join in the literary conversation. This podcast reveals notable writers for who they are: Hard-working, faithful people living in and writing about a messy, complicated, wonderful world.
