Love listening but room for improvement
I love many of the guests Romy has on and appreciate that she’s tackling some difficult subjects that should be discussed more openly. I do wish she’d improve the volume issues and audio quality (the black swan music intro is far too loud, for example). I also wish she did more research on the interviewees beforehand; particularly with more experienced professional dancers, she seems to enter the interview with very little background information on their career (and I say this with love, but Romy’s reaction to learning any interviewee is over 30 is kind of cringe — that’s not old!). Generally speaking, the interviews tend to lack necessary structure, but there is so much potential here, and I do still find the interviews interesting and valuable.

Romy approaches her podcast with love, and an unjudgemental openness. Tackling difficult subjects with a variety of participants, these podcasts are definitely helpful for dancers and people in general.
