Practical, Helpful, Could Be a Bit Better
I’ve enjoyed his approach mostly, he isn’t too wordy or lofty and you can tell her truly wants to connect to his audience compassionately. I notice he tries to be inclusive, however I find he misses the mark there by swearing and encouraging occult meditations (Harry Potter patronus). As a Christian I find this jarring and unsettling, as well as unprofessional. It’s exhausting trying to find practical skills to manage my illness while trying to sift through this garbage and causes me to feel even more isolated. Sure ‘everyone’ swears and reads Harry Potter, but I swearing is actually very triggering for me and makes it twice as hard for me to glean the good stuff I know he has to offer. As for Harry Potter, if he can make the effort to include that to connect with some of his audience, he’s capable of offering other tips for those of us who morally object to it.
