“Love the production value, and I’m a big fan of these types of stories - but the introduction of characters feels very caricature (out-of-their-depth mainland police officer, the local farmer, the ‘scar on the face’ of the foreign‘villain’...). Would love something more nuanced and culturally profound rather than reinforcing stereotypes.”
