“There are so many film-related podcasts out there, a large proportion of which cover “classic” cinema, and most of them are disappointing at best, inane at worst.
This one, however, is the real deal, providing fascinating biographical background and historical context to the most turbulent and productive period in film history: Weimar-era Berlin.
It’s not only informative but engaging, humorous, passionate and political.
I’ve binge listened to these 6 episodes over 2 days, prompting me to revisit these amazing films, and I will certainly be returning to the podcast episodes before too long.
Highly recommended.”
