“About a year ago, I started with this pod because I was intrigued by the Carrion Crown AP. For the first half-dozen to a dozen episodes, it was mainly that - an inoffensive opportunity to tour the Ustalav setting. However, the HLP's audio, cast engagement, and ability to put out an engaging actual-play pod quickly matured and has steadily matured. My affection for the pod has also grown to the point where it's become an automatic download that I wait for impatiently every week. In addition to being a strong overall experience, the HLP and the pod have a ton of heart. And it shows, producing the experience of sitting at the table with friends - which is the main draw of good actual-plays for many listeners.
