I just finished listening to over five hours worth of the incredible Endurance Expedition story, and it was so well written, researched and delivered that I had to leave a glowing review. If you love a podcast that goes into great detail whilst still managing to keep you captivated, Kirstin Robyn...Read full review »

My favorite history podcast by far and in all time favorite podcasts in general. Gutted about this hiatus but totally understand the need for it. I am going to miss it, though.

We just drove 22 hours round trip on a family vacation (journey) in the car. My husband downloaded many of these podcasts and we listened for hour after hour. Even our 8-year old stopped playing his Switch to listen to everything from Shackleton, to ghost stories, to Earth animals in space. The...Read full review »

I just finished the two parter about Édith Piaf. I can’t say enough good things about Kristin and her exceptional work. Edith Piaf has always been someone I admired, but the depth of these episodes brought her tragic and triumphant life into better focus than anything else I’ve seen or read about...Read full review »

Kristin (sp?) puts so much research into this, and adds storytelling skill that sets this podcast apart. If you like Vulgar History, you will love this. Plus, the theme music might make you want to work out at the end of each episode.

Just finished listening to the 5 part series about Shackleton’s ill fated voyage to Antarctica 1914 - 1916. This was very well written and narrated and was riveting to listen to. I loved it - thank you.

I’ve been obsessed with Shackelton’s phage since I was a boy and have read several of the books on the subject. However, this podcast brought up many scenes I was not aware of. Great research, narration and production quality.

I bought a book about Shackletons journey on the endurance. I decided to listen to your 5 part series on it before I read it. After your coverage of the voyage, you did such an amazing job that I had no reason to read the book. Truly awesome job.

Thank you so much for taking the time to produce the Shackleton series! I am a HUGE fan of Dan Carlin’s hardcore history podcasts.
