“Amazed that the ancient Greeks themselves have taken this long to get a podcast of their own. So far, I like this one, as of Ep 7.
Pros:
- Thorough, without bogging down.
Cons:
- Jarring pronunciation. It might just be my own ear, but his way of saying 'burial' drives me nuts. And every time he says 'Schliemann,' I am reminded of aliens calling us 'hew-mons.'
- Constant plugging of the musician providing the music. Gotta be honest: after ep 1, whenever I hear the plug starting, I fast forward to the end, skipping the music entirely.”Read full review »
