Started off very much in the light of the History of Rome, with a consistent narrative. The end of the century and question episodes were nice, but now the narrative has been slowed to a halt. I would recommend listening until the death of Basil II and then reading/finding other material for the rest of Roman history up to 1453. Disappointing, but it was great while it lasted.
