Well worth it!
This is probably one of the best general-interest history podcasts I've come across. it's well researched, written, and recorded (for me, the latter is important- no matter the subject, if I hear popping p's and hissing s's, I find it unbearable and delete). The author makes his points clearly and logically, and with all sorts of fascinating sidebars. I have become an ardent fan, awaiting each new episode. If I have one suggestion, it would be that we actually hear more examples of the proto-Indo-European words themselves. But that is a mere quibble. This is a thoroughly fascinating sojourn down a path in our history that we don't hear enough of. Thanks, congratulations, and keep up the good work.Read full review »
