Certainly the best History podcast I've heard so far.
His approach is excellent - very engaging. He's more than a Historian - he's also an excellent story teller. A STARK contrast to some of the other history podcasts, which are, quite frankly, dry as dust. I find myself really looking forward to the next installment. These lectures are the perfect length for the morning commute. They are well-researched and exciting (but not crappy and melodramatic like History Channel programs). It's like I'm taking the history classes I wish I'd had time for in college.Read full review »
