Room for improvement
On the positive side, the host clearly knows his material well and has done his homework. Unfortunately, there are several negatives. First, as noted by various previous reviewers, the host’s voice and speaking style leaves much to be desired and can sometimes be difficult to listen to. More importantly, often material is presented without any real introduction or context, with the (erroneous) assumption that listeners are intimately familiar with the topic at hand. This is most obvious when the host has special interviews where he banters with an author over obscure issues of theology. The podcast host would do well to learn from my and previous reviewers’ (hopefully constructive) criticism, which would make for a much more user-friendly podcast.
