Windhorst great, co-hosts ruin
Love Brian’s staid and knowledgeable approach to reporting and analysis. Unfortunately Bontemps and McMahon border on unlistenable far, FAR too often. Both Tims offer worthwhile insight when focused, but wow can they get sidetracked by petty grievance, particularly Bontemps. I’m genuinely surprised they haven’t received corporate feedback to knock off the snide, off-topic back and forths - they often present as though they genuinely dislike each other, despite half-hearted disclaimers. Also, McMahon has a self congratulatory sense of humor - not for me. I listen for Brian. Unfortunately, I frequently turn-off mid-pod due the Tims. Of all the nba writers at espn’s disposal, why pair Brian with arguably the two most grating co-hosts?
