The Answer to the Question: What are you smiling about so much?
One of the funniest and most wholesome podcasts you will ever come across. There isn't a single episode which won't lift your mood and make your day at least a little bit brighter. Musical comedy is complicated to get right, but this team of five talented musicians and one tone-deaf but hilarious comedian get the balance spot on every time. Not only are they talented, but they are genuinely good friends as well, and it shines through. There are inside jokes, there are subtle jokes, and there are jokes which are so un-subtle that they make you double-take. There are also awkward pauses, some bits fall flat, and mistakes are hilariously left in - but because of their genuine friendship somehow it all only adds to the humour and good vibe. In a world where everything is increasingly curated and artificial, this podcast is sincere and joyful. This podcast isn't just songs, but a fantastic mix of chat and games, featuring a different one-person special guest audience. The guest always seems right at home (often in Mark's basement) and the comedy always flows, even when the guest is, for some incomprehensible reason, Alex's accountant. If you aren't experienced with British humour there may be an adjustment period as you get used to the unique flow and pacing of their delivery. But it is 100% worth immersing yourself into their strange little world, and listening to this podcast will never fail to make your day a little brighter. - Nic from CanadaRead full review »

This podcast is wild and I love it. Alex Horne’s unique brand of comedy is so ridiculously satisfying to laugh to.

Love Alex and love the band. The mix of songs, improv and chat is superb. Even if I do have Thick and Creamy stuck in my head 24/7 now.

This podcast is just full on hilarious, the music is always top quality and even if you don’t know the guest they do such a good job of helping them relax it’s always entertaining.
