“This podcast hit me in the heart. We lost our great show mare Lopin Lola at the age of 13 from a broken leg. I think the years and years of injecting and osphos every 6 months to mask the pain in her fusing Hocks , made her bones week.
It was never discussed perhaps the pain was coming from something different even though the injections were not really helping. Not to mention it would get much worse with a rider on her back, barely detectable on a longe line.
