The Blues, 90s nostalgia and the minutias of life
This is my favourite Baggers pod by far🙌🏽 It has 3 down-to-Earth hosts, each bringing very different personalities and perspectives to the Navy Blues. It includes (my favourite) 90s nostalgia/references, excellent analysis of Carlton games, everything Carlton and also some insightful discussions on the pros/cons of everyday life. Elaine (Benes) once said- “I can't spend the rest of my life coming into this stinking apartment every ten minutes to pore over the, excruciating minutia, of every, single, daily event..” Well..I enjoy that show very much and I enjoy this one very much too. I find the off-task tangent topics very intriguing and it definitely moves the the Ian Prendercast into the top echelon of pods. Keep it up boys. Lets hope Fab wakes up and comes to the realisation (like De Koning) that this is the only place to be, signs on and commits his future to the pod (or at least hangs around like Ed Curnow). From a 90s kid/old adult, life-long Bagger and Matty Lappin worshipper. Shane (aka Dr Pepper)💙 PS. Enough talk of a Mings live pod/video stream event. Carlton are in the finals, make it happen!🙏🏽🥡Read full review »

My footballing IQ has probably increased since I started following the pod (not sure if that says more about me or...Read full review »

A smart breakdown and analysis of the game interspersed with blue language and relatable banter. Big thanks for adding the term ‘Circle Jerk’ to my lexicon. Given the phrase is used so frequently on the pod, perhaps it deserves its own segment. Keep it up boys and thanks for your efforts.
