“About an hour ago, I found myself at a chain drug store self-service cash register, slightly hungover with a bottle of store brand vinegar in one hand and a box of store brand baking soda in the other. A clogged sink on my mind, the 90s pop hit 'True Love' played over the store sound system.
Which of our hosts is the vinegar? Which is the baking soda? Well, it changes week by week, sometimes within an episode. Regardless, this podcast is a pleasing, consistent fizz; an ode to 'true love' for cinema.
Did the vinegar and baking soda ultimately unclog my sink? Nope. Will this podcast? Haven't tried yet, but probably not. However, is that what we're really looking for?
