The Only Movie Podcast You'll Ever Need
I've been searching for a great podcast about film for years, and there's always something missing for me. Sure, everyone has their niche, but sometimes I don't want to search around a million episodes to find what fits my specific mood. Well, no more! The Important Cinema Club has exactly what I've been desperately searching for: primers for the classics and deep dives into trash. This is the only podcast I've found that will spend an equal amount of time on scummy pornograpy as it will Robert Bresson. It's a one-stop for all your cinema needs. Without The Important Cinema Club, I would have never seen The Taming of Rebecca, which I'm not really thankful for, but I also wouldn't have seen The Ebola Syndrome, which I'm kind of thankful for, but I also wouldn't have seen Detour, which I am very thankful for. The hosts are as well-read as they are well seen, they have chemistry, and they're funny. Viva Roger Watkins, viva Lizzie Borden, viva The Important Cinema Club!Read full review »

Pleasant, funny, and informative discussions about films and filmmakers. The hosts never condescend to the films whether they’re talking about Charles Band or Robert Bresson.
