“This is a really intelligent podcast that manages to cover culture, politics, history and current events with the perfect blend of reporting, conversation and interviews. If you are even remotely interested in Ireland--or Brexit/EU affairs--you will love this podcast. But for anyone generally interested in modern history, its also a great listen. The episodes are long enough that they manage to offer a nuanced take on the topic at hand and the combo of professor (McInerney) and journalist (O'Leary) is the perfect balance.
