Boring and disappointing
Serial tackled a potential miscarriage of justice, West Cork a cold case, this appears to be about a man with terminal illness who just wanted a quiet death and to disappear. What exactly is the 'mystery' here' beyond he gave a false identity?. It is (episode 1) often a long script ... not even sound illustrated. Suggest Watching ciaran Cassidy's short film the last days of peter Bergmann which does far more in 18 minutes and is beautifully made. Disappointing - lacks tension/ engagement/ reason to listen.Read full review »

Fascinating and well documented. I am totally stalking the boards on Reddit about this now. My only question is why genetic genealogy hasn’t been used to try to solve the mystery.

Compelling subject but executed in a very basic way. No tension or engagement to listen on.
