This week on chaos in podcasting The Iron Sequel I am joined by Aaron and Carlee from the Hit Factory Podcast. Hit Factory is a podcast that focuses on the politics and films of the 90s, the decade in which I CAME ALIVE! It was a true pleasure to talk in depth about growing up in the decade and the media that helped shape us as people. I was fortunate enough to stumble across Aaron and Carlee when I was close to closing my Twitter and their humour and outlook on life made me rethink my...

This week on the most chaotic podcast on earth I am joined by my dear dear friend Mr. Andrew Taylor Carr. Andrew was my first ever guest on The Iron Sequel and his choice of film could not be any more different! It was great to catch up and see how his podcast 'Sons of Selvedge' is getting on.  Most importantly we talked at length about the podcast that helped make us into the budding cinephiles we are today, The Gentlemens Guide to Midnite Cinema. We owe a lot to Will and Sammy so was nice...

This week I am joined by Dr. Adrian Smith from The Wild Wild Podcast. Adrian is an Italian genre fanatic like myself. His podcast covers sub genres of Italian madness over a series. He has just finished his series on The Iron Sequel favourite the Poliziotteschi.  We gushed over Rome and meeting Luigi Cozzi and a little concerning discussion surrounding collector fandom and how it's getting a little out of hand.  FYI I have been plagued by internet Gremlins of late so more than once there is...

This week I am joined by Bill Ackerman from the Supporting Characters podcast. Supporting Characters is part of the Now Playing Network and Bill's guests range from writers through to producers and fellow podcasters. The roster of guests Bill pulls together is nothing short of spectacular if you're a fan of every aspect of film. I initially reached out because we have had quite a few crossovers in terms of guests.  As someone still fairly new to the podcasting game it was wonderful to hear...

This week I am joined by Twitter buddy Giles Edwards. Giles happens to be a producer and has worked on two very well received genre films THE GIRL ON THE FLOOR and BROADCAST SIGNAL INTRUSION. It was great to get a sneak peek into how the industry works and how the past few years have impacted production of films. He also dispelled the myth that all producers are strung out madmen working 23 hours a day.  Giles enthusiasm for film is deadly infectious and this is the longest chat I have had...

His books are a true source of EVERYTHING Cannon from interviews through to unseen images. Cannon has played a huge part in my film education from a very young age and to get to speak to a truly knowledgeable person on the subject was nothing short of a genuine...

It's pretty much the perfect sequel and I guarantee everyone will have an amazing time with it.  I just had to get this off my chest with a short free speaking episode. Enjoy!

He is also one half of the Tony and Scott podcast and has a YouTube channel called "The Record Room" in which he reviews albums, soundtracks and special picks from his collection. If you're not following him you're in for a treat when you just see how dedicated he is to the humble record.  It's always pleasing when someone's journey into music...

Very different feel to this weeks episode. No sequel, music, intros or recent watches but a chat with the author of 'Blood in the Streets' Dr. Austin Fisher. Austin is film culture historian covering the history and politics in cinema within the USA and Italy. I reached out with my usual email and Austin's response was to have an open chat surrounding the 'Poliziotteschi' and the 'Anni di Piombo'.  I really felt I had to be on my A game for this episode but Austin was a delight to talk to...

IT'S EPISODE 30! On this weeks episode I am joined by Troy and Brad from the Not a Bomb Podcast. Not a Bomb is kind of a spirit animal to The Iron Sequel in which the guys talk about films that were panned and or underappreciated. It's a wonderful listen with two guys who are passionate about their love of cinema. We also talked about how we've crossed paths over the years due to the GGTMC and subsequent podcasts. A really lovely laid back chat with two great guys and I can't wait to inflict...

Watching her career in writing through to podcasting and into the blu-ray release market providing commentaries and essays has been nothing short of a treat. Her Podcast, Fragements of Fear, also looks at some of the lesser celebrated Gialli with her co-host Peter Jilmstad. If you have bought a...
