I’m amazed people can stand this guy
Full disclosure: I have listened to several episodes, in their painful entirety, in an attempt to give this show a fair shake and see what all the fuss was about. Honestly, he’s just a motormouthed meathead who enjoys sharing his platform with figures from the far-right fringe. He’s also sort of symbolic of a larger problem currently plaguing the world in that if someone panders to the lowest common denominator as far as audiences go, they’ll end up being hugely influential. The plot of the Mike Judge film “Idiocracy” is clearly becoming reality with people like Joe Rogan and Alex Jones getting taken seriously and people like Donald Trump and Marjorie Taylor Greene winning any kind of election. Do yourself a favor and skip this crap (unless you enjoy listening to a dumb person pretend that if he talks fast enough and loud enough that he’ll sound like a smart person...)

More reviews of The Joe Rogan Experience
Pretty funny show, unfortunately he tells the same stories every other podcast or so, northwoods, livin' in Colorado etc.Read full review »
