Unhealthy subservience
Some enthusiasts will say I don’t “get it” but that’s okay. Listening, I heard a definition of leadership that requires “sticking it out” and suppressing the need to move on, defined as “maturity.” That can be really unhealthy. Maturity, in this instance, is realizing when NOT to substitute someone else’s judgment for your own. Do not stay in negative circumstances because of a warped charge of being a mature leader.
