You give me hope.
I'm happy for people like you, who have gone against today's "norm". To stand firm in their beliefs and to rise above political correctness. My story begins in my 3rd year of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nebraska. While attending, I made the common irresponsible mistake of getting drunk. This led to a life reckoning mistake. I pulled a down a drunken girl's pants and was soon suspended for 2 years at the University prior to being charged. I now speak among you as a sex offender who had been charged with 3rd degree sexual assault. I am now registered for the minimum of 15 years (she was 19, I was 20, but as a registered sex offender, I now share the same list as child molesters). The weight I carry around is great. It is impossible to go day by day without thinking about my past and the one mistake that shaped my life. You give me hope and dignity in pressing on through this death sentenced punishment. It truly seems like society is trying to push me over the edge with all of this humiliation and judgment. I would honestly give up an arm and consider both legs in being removed from this list. It's encumbering all of my feelings and what's seems to be my freedoms. You however, have given me great hope for the future and helped me to see something more. You helped me in realizing it's corrupt in so many places and that I'm not the only one struggling through it. I'm looking into "removing this weight off my shoulders" and taking you're advice in doing so. Thank you. God Bless.Read full review »
