Story fit for Charles Dickens
This story is shocking and very upsetting. My heart breaks for those kids and families. The judge should face stiff consequences as she claims to believe in them so much. The narrator’s vocal fry was very distracting and she didn’t do it when she interviewed people. Someone should have helped her with that as to seems to be a persistent conscious choice.

This is such an important story and I wish I could continue to listen however, the person speaking’s voice is so beyond aggravating to me I will do research on my own. I apologize bc I feel bad for even saying this on such an important subject

I practiced in Judge Scott’s court room for years. I am so proud of the attorneys who took on this court, this judge and all of those who stood by and did nothing. I’m thankful to them and it is a lesson for everyone in my profession… if you see something unjust take action.

I’ve only started listening to the first episode and it sounds like a good podcast & story. But, this narrator’s voice is so hard to listen to. The vocal fry and valley girl cadence is so grating. Unfortunate.
