“Kudos to the guys for putting this together and interviewing key people involved in the production, along with experts like Professor Dawidziak.
Each episode was an absolute joy.
I loved the opening voiceovers and the Night Stalker music. Hearing from the producers offered incredible insight into a show that was a milestone in my early teenage years.
BTW: My favourite TV show episodes — i.e the ones that stuck in my mind — were The Vampire, The Ripper and The Werewolf (makeup notwithstanding). The Zombie gets an honourable mention.
The only thing that could have made this a better experience would have been an interview with Darren McGavin. Sadly, he is no longer with us. But, the podcast is a great tribute to everyone involved. And the guys can be justifiably proud of their pod-tastic creation.
I’m recommending it to anyone who enjoyed Karl Kolchak.
BTW: You are right: The original Night Stalker movie was better than the Night Strangler Movie. And the TV series mixed its form.
But Darren McGavin and the cast never disappoint.
