TWFS - A Way of Life
I started listening to TWFS sometime around December of 2011. I had been looking up some videos on the Y2J return and the TWFS commentary of the 1.2.12 promos was a video I happened to blindly stumble upon and I'm very glad I did. My first impression was "hey these guys are pretty funny, let me see what other videos they have," completely not knowing what I was getting myself into. Upon learning about the twice a week discussion (which was still a weekly discussion at the time) I was instantly hooked. Not only was the comedy great but it became a learning tool for me to really understand the business and learn about older matches I hadn't seen and many obscure wrestlers I may have otherwise never heard of. I had stopped watching wrestling roughly around 2002/2003 and started watching again in 2010 so TWFS was great for filling me in on what I missed while I wasn't watching and I really enjoy the personalities and characters that co-hosts Kevin Scampoli and Danny Richardson bring to the table. However, it wasn't just the wrestling aspect that gripped me. TWFS has made a significant impact on my life as a whole. When life deals me tough times TWFS is a source of light for me that keeps me happy, upbeat and laughing even when things that are going on around me are not so perfect. Even when things seem to be at their worst for me I still constantly find myself walking down the street or somewhere in public and laughing to no one because of a joke or something said that I remembered from one of the episodes. Kevin and Danny's 'Happy wrestling fan' perspective is something I have been applying to life in general by trying to find silver lining even through unfortunate situations. I feel that TWFS has taught me just as much about life as it has about wrestling and comedy. I also love that they include the audience by encouraging listeners to send in audio or ideas for the discussion so that everyone can have a role and get involved. Personally I have been recommending my wrestling watching friends to check out the the twice a week doses of laughter (seven days a week if you're counting tweets), positivity, perspective, and motivation that TWFS has given me. On another note, I understand how hard it really is to make a professional sounding product and I appreciate all the work and effort the guys from TWFS put in to make their work sound as great as it can possibly sound. Their production values are excellent and it shows. For anyone who enjoys wrestling, a good laugh, or both, I highly recommend subscribing to TWFS and getting in on the fun.Read full review »

Danny came up during the golden age and into the cartoony early 90s, Kevin began judging wrestling at the age of 10 in the mid 90s and they both have their own very unique recollection of the infamous attitude era. well rounded for sure, this is worth your...Read full review »

I'm an attitude era wrestling fan who fell off the wagon sometime in 2001. This show has caused me to LOVE wresting again. They are able to intelligently discuss, critique, argue about, and poke fun at the 90's eras of wrestling all the way up until now. FIVE STARS.Read full review »

This show is the best! These guys don't waste time talking about "workrate" or breaking down Superstars. They talk about the stuff that matters in the wrestling world. While they weave in and out of topics seamlessly I often forget my shame of being a wrestling fan and just find...Read full review »
