Past and Future of UGA
Love your show Josh, it's the best out there. I have a two-part comment/question and apologies if this is long winded. First off, I would like to get your take on what you think went wrong with Fromm last year. You will see people solely blaming him, some people soley blaming Coley, and some people solely blaming the weakness at receiver. I think the answer lies somewhere in the middle and possibly some other issues we may never know about. I do think Chaney did a better job than Coley understanding the strengths and weaknesses of his game. Also, we probably ran the most watered down offense in the conference. But yes, our receivers really did struggle with separation, and it seemed that Fromm didn't see them when they were open. I personally have never seen a QB regress the way Fromm did though, it was really surreal to watch him seemingly get worse as the season went on. Maybe a discussion for another day but I think Kirby's coaching last year was extremely overlooked. Managed the team to 12 wins with a severely crippled offense. He has taken a lot of flak for being too conservative but he knows his team and Fromm more than anyone else. He may have been making the right calls. My next question. Most folks in the media (that I have seen at least) are airing their concerns about our offense, and rightly so due to us not having a spring for install. But what happens if Monken and Newman come in and hit the ground running and meet/surpass expectations? How fast does the narrative change? Are we going to be the SEC favorites? I feel like that scenario isn't being mentioned much.Read full review »

Have followed Josh since his start in Columbus, GA. Very knowledgeable of the industry and to the point with...Read full review »

New subscriber here. I’m fascinated by the little “peeks behind the curtain” Josh always sprinkles in. Some people just have a knack for storytelling. He’s got that IT Factor.
