This is a learned skill that you have the opportunity to develop in every interaction with another human. This is in essence what keeps humanity moving forward rather than backward.   Affirmation: Personnel is Policy, we are the system - recognize we are the institution, we are the knowledge holders. Say "I am an institution, I'm a school, I'm a library" not with hubris, but with humility... b/c we know that 1st generation, Black Indigenous Students of Color, hold schools & libraries within them. Each of you have the ability to empower the people the people in your lives, we believe in you!   I hope this chat inspires you to read the hyperlinks in the description and inspires you to do your own research about the scholarship journey. Doing well in your classes and reflecting on how those classes will matter in your near / far future is a beautiful act of scholarship.
