“First, the podcast itself was phenomenal! I do agree with many that there are too many ads. I find it admirable that the Snarr family chooses forgiveness over a lifetime of hatred and anger. However, advocating for his release is incredibly insensitive to Yvette’s feelings and just simply irresponsible! It seems many are trying to paint a picture that Jorge was going there to take his own life, and when he was too afraid to, he “suddenly” snapped and shot 2 innocent people. That’s ludicrous! He stated to several people in the weeks prior that he wanted to kill someone. This was no sudden mental breakdown, it was flat out a thrill kill! As I was listening I kept waiting for this big traumatic experience that Jorge experienced to lead him to such violence- because I felt his lawyer continued to build this up during the podcast. Yet once Jorge’s childhood was discussed, it still didn’t give me one ounce of empathy toward this killer! Millions of people sadly were raised in homes with alcoholic/abusive parents and do not go on thrill killings. I pray the Snarr’s continue to have peace and comfort, but do so without trying to release their son’s murderer and the man that took away the peace and normalcy to Yvette’s life!”
