“I came across this podcast almost by accident, looking to get some deeper understanding of Luther and the world around him. I looked at the list of episodes, and decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did.
I find that Steve Fogle has a very pleasant way of narrating, and the audio quality is quite good. This is important if you're gonna spend hours listening to someone talking. The length of the episodes is also a definite plus - not too brief, but enough time spent where you get a good chunk of information.
I knew very little about Luther when I started listening, and I'm combining this podcast with actual history studies, thus giving me another perspective. I would recommend this podcast not just to those interested in the religious teachings, but just as a way of understanding the world of early modern Europe, and the ways religion shaped society.
