I have been listening to every one of these since I discovered the series and it's been thoroughly enjoyable and fascinating. This program conveys superbly the passion and enjoyment that scientists in all fields share about their work and makes it easy to understand why they feel so committed to what they do. You learn a fair bit of science on the way, too, and Jim Al Khalili is an excellent interviewer, who contributes something of his views whilst allowing the guests to talk without all those irritating interruptions you so often get on the radio. He's good at playing 'devil's advocate' (although I can tell when he's doing it!). Thank you for this tremendous series, I just wish more people would hear it.Read full review »

I think more people need to be more aware of the scientist who inform us in an almost invisible way because most people are not aware of the important work they do. Well, here is the place to find out who, how and...Read full review »
