Description
  Before EJ Gallo purchased the premium Venezuelan rum producer Diplomatico, it was the darling of craft bartenders, balancing the natural sweetness of aged rums with an oak profile more akin to whiskey, making it on the best alternative spirits for an Old Fashioned along with many other cocktails. On the nose you'll get orange peel, caramel, and black licorice. On the palate an oak driven vanilla bean is round and lasting, more typical of whiskey.
