Politically biased. Disappointing.
Was a great fan of Paxman’s objective interviewing. However, despite a decent income for years at the BBC, Paxman now slags them off in the Telegraph of all places, hardly the bastion of journalistic integrity nowadays. On this podcast specifically, Paxman’s libertarian inkling seeps through when interviewing a judge opposing lockdowns that stem Covid and then a doctor responsible for the widely criticized Great Barrington Declaration. I don’t mind them being interviewed, but I hoped the interviews would challenge them rather than let them spout off dangerous viewpoints. Paxman just sips his pint and mutters his agreements. All a shame really as I did enjoy the first few interviews.

It’s always a pleasure to hear Jeremy Paxman outside of University Challenge and Newsnight. Can’t wait to hear the rest of the series!
