This podcast is shockingly accurate - trigger warning
I attended a [therapeutic] traditional New England boarding school for two years and can attest to the damage and devastation that these programs have on people. The school I attended was actually what is called “a second chance school,” and many of people who I would soon come to be friends with were coming from wilderness programs. It is shocking and disturbing to consider what capitalistic ideology has NOT penetrated. Amazing work. We appreciate you shedding light on such corruption in such a respectful manner.
