So sad!
This is so sad. It’s not fair that young kids were subjected to this for years. The adult group training spin offs that are still a very active, lucrative business in US are similar, but have toned down the physically violent aspects used at CEDU for legal reasons. Gratitude Training does at lot of the same tough love in group settings and they make so much money, operating with mainly with unpaid volunteers who spend way too much time “ being in service”. CEDU students deserve compensation.

Amazing podcast! My heart breaks for Daniel’s parents, but Daniel’s best friend Nick is the one who really made me cry. He loved and cared about his friend so much. You can hear it in his voice. I hope he has somehow managed to live a good life despite the tragic loss of his best friend.
