Just entered Magnus Mania
I am normally not a big auditory story fan. I typically get bored of podcasts after listening for 5 minutes. However, the clear storytelling abilities of the Magnus Archives have been so compelling that I am now hooked and craving more. The episodes are not excessively long so they are a perfect listen whenever going out for a brisk walk around the neighborhood or a drive to work. It is obviously fulfilling its objective of being frightening, but from the episodes I have listened to the language and content appears to be relatively appropriate. It’s 6 days away from Halloween today, yet I was not in the spooky season mood until popping out my headphones and listening to The Magnus Archives.

I normally listen to podcasts as I am falling asleep. DO NOT listen to this podcast at night, alone, with the lights off. Several sleepless nights. Hooked from the first episode. Keep it coming. :)

Short stories from various 'sources', well set in modern GB (mobile phones, security cameras, etc are incorporated rather than written around). I'm eager for more!Read full review »
