Really wonderful, strange ideas. The fact that it’s made up of fragmented accounts, sometimes with rich and bizarre detail, sometimes leaving gaping mysteries, somehow makes it more spooky. Hope as promised the threads begin to tie together to something even bigger and scarier.

I find horror podcasts very hit and miss. Most of them can feel very cheesy and over the top. The Magnus Archives greatest feature for me is that it's willing to be understated and let the story speak for itself and not let sound effects and "creepy noises" do the work.
