Absolute drivel
This week I’ve listened to the team describe in detail Matt’s plan to go to a silent yoga retreat for the purpose of picking up wwomen including the intended use of sign language to convey this, likely futile, attempt (an index finger penetrating through the ‘okay’ hand-sign). Another episode re-litigated a well trodden, oft-repeated story about a 2015 trip to Amsterdam. The episode could easily have been mistaken for a years-earlier episode of the show yet it wasn’t, in fact, a replayed episode. It beggars belief that the hosts occupy their time with the purpose of repeatedly producing such unmistakably pointless content. This follows an episode earlier this month where young male podcast member, Mash, was designated Women’s Affairs Conciliator of the show. His tenure in the role was short-lived as, ultimately, he suffered from a vote of ‘no confidence’ as it was deemed his desire to be in the role was driven by his desire to have affairs with women. It was clearly an inappropriate appointment as he was driven by his downstairs and more focused on the “wakatoombas” of passers-by on the street. Bless, bless, bless, Simmo
