Some good topics and interesting research - but let down by presenters only really talking about the US… eg discussion on automation and AI from the “GLOBAL McKinsey institute” - talked literally only about the US market 😂.

Interesting, but I can’t stand the 1 hour discussions done by phone. I skip these episodes systematically, just invite the person live or don’t do it.

Makes me very sad, putting it mildly, to hear “Ukraine crisis” after 11 months of russia’s war on Ukraine. “Ukraine crisis” assumes that it’s Ukraine own fault. While in reality it’s 100% russia’s fault. Shame on you, McK, for this equivocation!

I wonder if they’ll do an episode about their involvement in and contributions to the opioid crisis.

When I listen to this show I know I’m hearing from the very best business management experts who work closely with the most vital companies around the globe. The podcast production value is super pro sounding too. I like that the show has multiple segments including one that has a soft-skill vibe.

McKinsey is a true world leader in tolerating evil.

Content is professional. I believe that McKinsey is adding to the already pervasive bias that men with British accent are infinitely more capable than without. For a company I look to to help dispel myths this feels like fuel to the fire.

I think you should clarify the markets that you researched as it is a very western and really North America view. The small brands comments, the sustainability comments they are not really as big for some of the most profitable gen z markets which is not the USA....

Well planned and spoken, but too stiff and formal. Miss some personality and surprising takes on the matters. Good for anyone new to consulting.

*episode about performance of Corporate China* I find it unfortunate that scientific findings are presented in such a derogative tone. It almost sounds like the presenter is cynical about corporate China performing below expectations. I detect an undertone, which I very much dislike. That’s the...Read full review »

I love the 7 step bullet proof problem solving process, and would love more of these type of episodes. It made me buy the book. While some reviews appear not to like the vocabulary of the podcast, it has taught me a fair few words I did not know and would like to adopt. Keep up the great work.

I live the content of this podcast. Obsession comes to mind as a description of my relationship to it. However the volume is a lot lower than other podcasts I to which I listen. Maybe I’m crazy but I think it’s true.

Good job looking back at the reason for the recession nearly 10 years ago. The banks are given credit for the lion share of the collapse in the markets and home ownership. But you need to go back further and study why the banks were in that spot. Home ownership became an entitlement during the...Read full review »
